Dr. Walton talks about the importance of a dog emergency kit on CTV
Every dog owner is faced with an emergency from time to time. Perhaps you’ve made the mistake of cutting one of your dog’s nails too short, or maybe you just didn’t hide your chocolate stash well enough! In this video, Dr. Walton shows you what comes in handy when accidents happen.
Here we goat again…
The last week of March somehow became Goat Week at Dewdney Animal Hospital:
And then there were the snakes!

A critically endangered Oregon Spotted Frog
Dr. Walton:
“The governmental biologists are trying to breed them in captivity. This little girl laid an egg mass yesterday and had part of her insides prolapse out. With gentle manipulation we were able to put her back together and hopefully she can spawn future progeny.”

Saving an injured squirrel
This lucky squirrel was found injured on the side of the road. After a brief stay at Dewdney, it was released back where it was found.
