This baby raccoon was brought into the clinic by the Maple Ridge BCSPCA.
It had been found behind a shed after the mother had been scared away. She had removed several other babies, but left this one behind. After several hours it started to weaken and was brought in. Because of the sheer volume of baby animals that spring, none of the local rescues were able to take care of this little guy. Dr. Walton and his staff fostered this little boy until he was able to eat on his own. He was eventually transferred to Critter Care Animal Rehab facility.
