Bob the Nile Monitor
This is Bob – a neglected nile monitor. He was Walton’s given to the SPCA. Dr. Walton and his staff tried for three months to repair the damage from years of neglect. Sadly, Bob eventually had to be euthanized.
Red-Tailed Hawk
This Red-Tailed Hawk was brought in to the clinic by a client who found it at the side of the road. It had a concussion and a bruised
wing but was otherwise healthy. After a few days at Dewdney Animal Hospital it was taken back to its home range and released.
Its not just dogs and cats. Dewdney Animal Hospital also works on exotics like snakes, lizards, rabbits, ferrets and yes, even the occasional pig.
Tortoise
Even Tortoises need a little TLC. This feeding tube was placed after the tortoise would’t eat.
Turkey
This turkey was attacked by coyotes. A little antibiotics and TLC and back to normal.
Kitten Fostering
Our staff like to help out. These kittens from the SPCA were fostered by one of our staff members until they could be adopted out.
